dinahsays: The Kiss Triptych. Acrylic on canvas. 48x72” March 2010. It was magic, the way this one came to be… I was painting it horizontally, without any idea of where I was going. My mind and hands flowed on their own, I wasn’t planning any of the coming strokes. And suddenly, I tilted my head sideways, and “the Kiss” emerged to me… After noticing about seven other serendipitous events, I realized that the painting was telling me that it was done and that I should not do anything else to it. I don’t know if this makes sense to anyone but myself, but I was not the leader in my relationship with this painting. Art is something bigger than us.
